About Me

I aspire to document and tell visual stories about  people in wild and wonderful environments around the world. I enjoy connecting with individuals who allow me to honour them by creating a portrait. I am a graduate of the "Science Technician, Photography" program at Algonquin College in Ottawa, Ontario. Flilm was my medium until early in 2000. My career as a portrait and fashion photographer was put on hold to pursue a career in health and fitness for this past 23 years.

The pandemic brought my life to a stand still. I was pushed to re-create my career as a fitness coach. Photography played an important roll in feeding my soul. I went to the Ottawa river pathway and explored the forest along the river. I found myself enjoying the flora, fauna and fungi on the forest floor and along the river pathway. I re-discovered the joy of Medicine Walks that I loved when I was a child in my home town of Red Lake Ontario. I am Métis. Connecting to nature nourishes my mind, body and spirit.

I look forward to connecting with people around the world once again. I hope to share my passion for photography and inspire individuals to go for their own medicine walks. Every walk will be an adventure.
